Your Spring Holiday for 7 days detailed from room to room

The Living Space

The Living space is open and free flowing. This is the space where you can be most creative or simply unwind and relax. A comfortable chaise sofa lounge large enough for guests to stretch out is appropriately positioned to take in the spectacular and uninterrupted views offered through the large floor to ceiling glass spanning the entire living area.

An upright brick chimney just wide enough to accommodate a cosy log fire, Smart TV and sound system is strategically positioned to add ambience and warmth, yet not detracting from the amazing views fronting the retreat.

The lighting system in the living area consists of an LED dimmer controlled system that can be adjusted to set your mood.

Large double glazed sliding doors connecting the outside BBQ deck to the living, kitchen and dining areas provide an integrated entertainment space with the ocean views remaining constantly the main focal point.

Point of Interest

When entering  the retreats you may notice a metallic ridge line on the floor, which runs diagonally from the end of the BBQ deck to the corner end of the living area. The floor at this juncture mitres creating an arrow shape following the general aerodynamic design of the retreats. The ridge line points true west in line with the Roaring 40's latitude.

The Kitchen and Dining Area

A modern contemporary kitchen compliments the design of the retreat equipped with high quality appliances to assist with putting together some of your favourite recipes. Spacious and functional the kitchen combines floor to ceiling cabinetry that follows the smooth lines of the the raked roof with a beautifully designed kitchen island for meal preparations and those get together breakfasts. A mirrored splash-back ensures none of the action outside is missed even with one's back turned away whilst stirring the pot.

A large beautifully timber crafted dining table adds that extra touch for the lovely meals prepared by guests or served by your own exclusive chef, who can be hired for that special evening you may have in mind.

The Spacious and comfortable Bedrooms

A spring holiday at Ettrick Rocks is more than just nature's amazing theatrics. It is also about comfort, and creating a personal sanctuary for your well awaited holiday.

The bedrooms are spacious and designed to make you feel relaxed with comfortable beds, soft blankets and 5-star quality linen and pillows. There is also a large cushioned window seat, a Smart TV, wall heater and a mirrored study desk. Inside the bedroom there are many functional items that will keep you as connected or as disconnected as you wish to be to the rest of the world.

A private ensuite with floor heating adjoins the bedroom, with walk-in shower, toilet and basin. Some of the bathrooms also include an insert bathtub. A large window, with automated blinds for privacy, ensure the views remain constantly the centre of attraction
